Common reasons people call

Everyday technology problems deserve a straight answer.

Home support can cover one personal computer, a primarily single-user home office, or selected household technology. Business-owned and shared systems are classified separately so scope and pricing stay honest.

  • Slow startup, storage pressure, and unwanted programs
  • Pop-ups, browser redirects, and suspected malware
  • Windows or macOS setup, updates, and basic usability
  • New computer setup and readable-data transfer
  • Email, account, software, printer, and scanner setup
  • Home Wi-Fi, router, and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Backup setup and practical recovery planning
  • Hardware installation and basic post-install testing

Business-owned equipment, multiple users, office networks, business cloud accounts, line-of-business applications, or work that can interrupt operations uses business pricing or a written quote. See business technology services.

OS reload comparison

Choose based on whether readable user data must be preserved.

Both reload services require diagnostic review and customer acknowledgment. The full option includes readable user-data backup and restoration up to 250 GB; it is not deleted-file recovery or repair for a failing drive.

Important boundaries

  • Backup reduces risk but cannot guarantee that every file will be recoverable.
  • Capacity and retention follow the selected provider product and are not unlimited.
  • Storage capacity and retention are limited by the selected tier and approved provider.
  • Initial upload time depends on data volume and internet connection.

Data recovery

A careful evaluation comes before a recovery attempt.

Logical recovery may help when the storage device is accessible and does not show signs of physical failure. Clicking, grinding, non-detecting, liquid-damaged, fire-damaged, or mechanically failed media should be referred instead of repeatedly scanned.

01

Initial data-recovery evaluation

Free

A free evaluation to determine whether a supported logical recovery attempt or specialist referral is appropriate.

Data recovery is never guaranteed. Devices showing signs of physical failure should be referred rather than repeatedly scanned.
02

Tier 1 Logical Recovery

Data recovery is never guaranteed. Recovered files may be incomplete or damaged, and required destination media is separate.
03

Tier 2 Deep Logical Recovery

Data recovery is never guaranteed. Recovery attempts can worsen a failing device; physical-failure signs require referral.
04

Physical or Cleanroom Recovery

Specialist quote

Specialist referral for physically damaged or mechanically failed storage.

Perqline does not claim in-house cleanroom capability. Specialist pricing and destination media are separate, and recovery is never guaranteed.

Data recovery is never guaranteed. Recovered files may be incomplete or damaged. Destination storage, specialist services, and required media are separate.

Remote, onsite, or drop-off

The device, problem, and location determine the service format.

Remote service is often efficient when the computer starts, connects to the internet, and the issue is safe to address remotely. Physical setup, offline devices, networking, and hands-on inspection may require onsite or arranged drop-off work.

Remote appointment

$79 for up to 60 minutesOne supported computer, account, software, email, printer, or usability issue suitable for remote work.

Local onsite appointment

$99 for up to 60 minutesOne residential appointment in the core service area after review.

FreeBy appointment; no public walk-in storefront is advertised.

Published onsite rates apply in the core service area. Extended-area travel is quoted before scheduling.

Business-owned equipment

One-time help or Remote Care?

Recurring support can make sense for a device used every day.

One-time service is a clean fit for an isolated issue. Remote Care is designed for an covered device that needs managed protection and recurring eligible remote help.

Illustrative one-time combination

$425$109 per year per device managed antivirus plus 4 remote appointments at $79 for up to 60 minutes each.

Remote Care annual plan

$419/yrUnlimited eligible remote-support appointments for one covered device, subject to appointment availability, reasonable use, service scope, and the published terms.

In this specific example, annual Remote Care is $6 less than the one-time combination. Actual needs, service eligibility, appointment availability, scope, and costs vary.

25%

Member discount on select eligible services

The discount is not automatic. It requires an active membership, an approved covered device, and an eligible service. It does not apply to parts, licenses, travel, specialist recovery, third-party services, uncovered devices, or business projects.

Home support FAQ

Useful answers before you request service.

Still unsure? Call (702) 757-1576 or email [email protected]. Availability is confirmed after review.

Are diagnostics free?

Yes. An eligible bench or arranged drop-off diagnostic begins with a free initial assessment. For onsite service, the diagnostic product is free, but the onsite appointment is billed at the applicable rate from arrival. Repair labor, parts, data recovery, and additional work are not included unless stated and approved.

Is an onsite visit free?

No. The initial diagnostic product is free, but an onsite appointment is billed at the applicable residential or business service rate from arrival. Published residential onsite service is $99 for up to 60 minutes in the core service area, with a one-hour minimum.

Do you have a storefront?

Perqline does not advertise a public walk-in storefront. Bench work and device handoffs are arranged directly by appointment after the request is reviewed.

Can I drop off a computer?

Possibly, by appointment. Submit the residential intake first so Perqline can review the device, issue, diagnostic fit, handoff details, and current availability. Do not arrive without a confirmed arrangement.

Do you work remotely?

Yes, when the computer starts, can connect securely, and the issue is suitable for remote work. Residential remote support is $79 for up to 60 minutes by appointment. Physical setup, offline devices, hardware work, and some network problems may need onsite or arranged drop-off service.

What is OS Reload Lite?

OS Reload Lite is a $119 clean factory reset or supported operating-system reinstall without preserving existing files. It includes the supported reset or reinstall, bloatware removal, updates, required supported drivers, browser installation, basic security and account setup, and a final operational check.

What is OS Reload Full?

OS Reload Full is $189 and includes everything in OS Reload Lite plus backup and restoration of up to 250 GB of readable user data, basic profile and folder restoration, reasonably recoverable browser bookmarks, basic customer-owned application reinstall, and final data and startup verification.

Does OS Reload Full guarantee my data?

No. Its data-transfer scope applies only when the source drive and user data are readable. Deleted, corrupted, encrypted, or failing-drive recovery is separate, and some files or application settings may not be transferable. A healthy destination drive may also be required.

What is the difference between Virus Clean Lite and Full?

Virus Clean Lite is $79 for lighter infections on a computer that still starts and remains reasonably usable, such as adware, browser hijackers, suspicious pop-ups, or unwanted extensions. Virus Clean Full is $139 for persistent malware, repeated infections, affected profiles, or supported deeper repair and validation work. A diagnostic determines the appropriate scope.

Can you guarantee malware removal?

No. Malware cleanup cannot be guaranteed in every case and is not a forensic or identity-theft investigation. If reliable remediation requires deeper repair or an operating-system reload, Perqline stops and recommends the appropriate approved service instead of stacking the full cleanup and reload prices.

Can you set up a new computer?

Yes. New Computer Setup is $89 for one supported computer and includes initial setup, updates, a user account and browser, basic customer-owned applications, bloatware removal, basic security and usability settings, and a final startup check. New Computer Setup Full with data is $169 when up to 250 GB of readable user data also needs to be transferred.

Can you move my files?

Yes, when the source data is readable. New Computer Setup Full includes up to 250 GB of basic readable-data transfer, and Standalone Data Transfer is $119 for up to 250 GB between supported storage devices. Deleted, damaged, encrypted, corrupted, or physically failing data requires a different evaluation, and destination storage is separate.

Can you recover deleted data?

Perqline can provide a free initial data-recovery evaluation and may recommend a $149 Tier 1 or $299 Tier 2 supported logical-recovery attempt. Recovery is never guaranteed. Physically damaged, mechanically failed, clicking, grinding, or non-detecting media is referred to a specialist rather than repeatedly scanned.

Are parts included?

No, unless a written service description or quote explicitly says otherwise. Parts, replacement hardware, destination drives, devices, licenses, paid applications, subscriptions, specialist services, shipping, taxes, and extended-area travel are normally separate.

Is Managed Antivirus a support plan?

No. Managed Antivirus is a per-device security service, not a technical-support membership. It includes the stated license, installation, initial configuration and scan, basic policy, and license management. Remote Care separately includes managed protection for each approved covered device.

Is Remote Care unlimited?

Remote Care includes unlimited eligible remote-support appointments for each purchased covered device, subject to appointment availability, reasonable use, service scope, and the published terms. It is not unlimited onsite work, project work, support for unregistered devices, parts, or specialist service.

Is Managed Computer Backup included with Remote Care?

No. Managed Computer Backup is a separate optional product available during support-plan checkout when its Stripe price is configured. Its quantity follows the number of covered computers. Microsoft 365 Backup and Google Workspace Backup are also independent options with their own protected-user quantities.

Is one-time Backup Setup the same as Managed Computer Backup?

No. Backup Setup is one-time labor to configure an approved customer-owned backup destination or workflow. Managed Computer Backup is a separately approved ongoing per-device service with its own capacity, provider, pricing, monitoring, and restore boundaries.

What happens if the issue takes longer than one hour?

There is no automatic incremental stopwatch billing. Perqline stops, explains the findings, and asks for approval before moving to a flat-rate service, follow-up appointment, written quote, or larger project scope.

Do you support business computers at residential prices?

No. Residential pricing is for personal devices, home technology, and primarily single-user home-office setups. Business-owned equipment, shared users, office networks, line-of-business applications, managed equipment, or work that can interrupt operations uses business pricing or a written quote.

What information should I never submit through a form?

Never submit passwords, PINs, remote-access credentials, product keys, payment-card information, private keys, one-time codes, account recovery codes, Social Security numbers, full financial account details, or unnecessary medical or financial information. Any necessary access is arranged separately after review.
